All tourists witnessing the beauty of our forests, the splendor of our hydroelectric projects, and participating in our rich traditions help us contribute towards the development of the Koyna Nagar region. It is our strong belief that tourism done properly can aid in the conservation of our heritage alongside building a better Koyna Nagar.

 

All this can be facilitated by taking concrete measures towards developing the tourism sector. What is required is working towards creating more attractions in the township so that people will travel to see the sights and wonders.

 

As it stands now, building tourism centers should only serve the purpose of getting foreign tourists. The goal is to give a local family that has fallen on hard times a means to survive, or to employ a hardworking, jobless citizen.

 

Our aim is instead to sustainably nurture the spirit that is Koyna Nagar, letting it people in future generations thrive, inviting them to visit lifelong. Fundamentally, nurturing Koyna Nagar can only happen when we begin by creating the end goal, sustainable wellbeing.
